Came in York to explore new places, this apartment was great base for making it happen.

Comfortable bed, fridge, kettle, and microwave, so all our needs were covered. The spot was awesome, close to a lovely garden and not far from the city center. 🌳

amazing stay in york! gillygate nest made our trip even better. the modern apartment was clean and comfy, with the best mattress ever. loved the location near the city center, and having a safe parking spot was a bonus. highly recommended!

The location of this place is stunning and very close to where we wanted to be. everything was perfect.

This place was a comfortable base for visiting the area, and I really enjoyed my stay here, especially because of the well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, electric kettle, and refrigerators for cooking meals.

Gillygate Nest provided a convenient, central location for exploring York's attractions. The apartment was clean and modern, with a large, comfortable bed and spacious living area. Having a parking spot was a major advantage.

I appreciated the effort to make the stay comfortable, although some little touches like a welcome bundle with tea, coffee, and milk would have been nice. The apartment could have been a bit more homely and welcoming.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay

We had a great 3-night stay and found the room very convenient. The fridge, kettle, and microwave were really handy for us. It was nice to have a bath too. The breakfast was included, and we liked that we could make our own in the kitchenette. 🍳

My partner and I stayed at the Gillygate Nest for a weekend getaway. The apartment's central location allowed us to easily walk to the city center, making exploring a breeze. The kitchen facilities were fantastic, allowing us to prepare our own meals. The apartment was cozy, especially with the heating on, and the bed was comfortable with clean linen. Parking was a major plus, and the overall cleanliness and modern decor of the property were impressive. We even had a view of the Minster from our window and enjoyed hearing the bells chiming.

The value for money was excellent and the room itself was fantastic, with modern finishes and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the city centre and there were plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel breakfast menu could have been improved by including a welcome hamper with a larger quantity of milk for more than one cup of tea on arrival. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a table and chairs in the courtyard area to enjoy the good weather, and a door stop to keep the kitchen door open, although I understand the fire safety regulations.
